Transportation

contact information | referral form

The BAHC transportation service has 7 vans in their fleet and run from 5:30 am to 10:00 pm.  The system runs from Hatch to Anthony and Chaparral.  We make approximately 600 trips per month.  We provide transportation for people on the JARC (Job Access and Reverse Commute) program whose participants fall under the 150% poverty level (Federal Guidelines), but are not TANF.  JARC riders are charged $1.00 per trip, which is the reduced rate or sliding scale for those under the 150% poverty level.  Any other clients that are in need of transportation and are not under the 150% poverty level can take advantage of these services, but have to pay a regular fare of $1.75 for any travel under 30 miles and an increased rate thereafter.  Clients requesting transportation may go the Hatch Ambulance office next to Ben Archer Health Center.  Please bring your Medicaid card, proof of income/pay stubs, and social security card.
